RN Lisa Young joins BMH nursing team
Lisa Young joined the BMH Med-Surg staff as an RN in July, adding yet another local resident to the Blue Mountain Hospital family.
Lisa grew up in Blanding and graduated from San Juan High School in 1998. She attended nursing school at the College of Eastern Utah-San Juan Campus, in Blanding, from 1999-2000 and received both her LPN and RN degrees. She went on to work as an RN for seven years, garnering experience at facilities such as San Juan Hospital, in Monticello, and Dixie Regional Medical Center, in St. George. Lisa left the nursing profession for seven years to become the manager at Wells Fargo Bank, in Blanding. She recently returned to nursing, spending time at the Four Corners Regional Care Center, in Blanding, as an RN, before accepting a position at Blue Mountain Hospital.
Lisa is married to John Young, of Monticello, and the couple lives in Blanding. They have three children, a girl age 12, and two boys, ages 10 and 8.
Lisa said she chose the nursing profession because she likes to help people, and she’s happy to be working at Blue Mountain Hospital. We are glad to have Lisa as part of our BMH family and we welcome her aboard.
