New Physical Therapist joins Precision Rehab
Precision Rehabilitation has a new Physical Therapist working in the Utah Navajo Health System Community Health Centers.
Paul Goodrich is a native of Price, Utah, and a 2007 graduate of Carbon High School. He was a runner in high school but injured his knee, and had to go through therapy. It was there he learned about what a PT does. He later attended Southern Utah University, in Cedar City and received a Bachelors Degree in Biology in 2012. After taking an Anatomy Class at SUU he knew he wanted to be a Physical Therapist and attended PT school at the University of Nevada Las Vegas. He graduated from PT school in May 2016 and began working for Precision Rehab in July.
“I like being in a rural environment because you get to do a little bit of everything and meet a lot of different people,” Paul said.
Paul and his wife Vanessa now live in Blanding with their three-month old daughter Aspen, who was born just before New Years. Paul and Vanessa met at SUU. Vanessa grew up in Minorsville, Utah. His family still lives in Price so they are not far away.
Paul said his experience with Precision Rehab and UNHS has been good so far and he enjoys the work. Being from Price, he already knew Brian and Tyler Gilson, two UNHS Pharm-D’s who are also from Price. He had another connection with Alan Ward, of Precision Rehabilitation, because his wife’s mother is a cousin to Alan’s wife. It’s a small world after all.
In their spare time Paul and Vanessa enjoy hiking and camping and caring for their new daughter.
Paul Goodrich is a welcome addition to Precision Rehabilitation and his for UNHS patients and we wish him well. If you see him around say hello.
