New Employees at Blue Mountain Hospital
Kristi Redd is one of two new LPNs who recently joined the Blue Mountain Hospital Nursing staff.
A native of Blanding, Kristi is the daughter of Jed and Candice Lyman. She graduated from San Juan High School in 1995. Much of her life since high school has focused on raising a family. She is married to Jeremy Redd and the couple has three children, a girl and two boys. For nearly nineteen years Kristi also worked as a Medical Coder for a California company, doing her work from home, while caring for three children.
With two of her children graduated from high school, and the third in high school, Kristi decided to follow her passion and enter the nursing program at Utah State University Eastern – Blanding Campus. Earlier this month she completed her studies and earned her LPN certification. She is now an LPN with BMH and she plans to enter the RN program at USU Eastern-Blanding in August.
When not working, Kristi enjoys hiking, boating, riding horses and doing most anything outside.
We’re glad to welcome Kristi to the BMH family and wish her well in her new position. We also wish her well in her RN classes this fall.
Hunter Bowring finished his LPN training at the Utah State University Eastern-Blanding Campus earlier this month and began working with Blue Mountain Hospital’s nursing staff last week.
Hunter is a native of Monticello, Utah, the son of Bryan and Sherrill Bowring. He graduated from Monticello High School in 2014 and following high school served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Spokane, Washington.
After his mission he lived in Utah Valley and operated a pressure wash business for a time, before attending Utah Valley University for two semesters. He later transferred to Utah State University Eastern in Blanding to study nursing. He will enter the USU RN program in August.
He and his wife Madison have a 6-1/2-month old son, Hudson. In their spare time they enjoy camping, fishing, archery and golf. We’re glad to have Hunter as part of BMH. We wish him all the best.
